Law Rain winning at Ascot ridden by Paul Harvey

Last week my race horse Law Rain (named after my mother Lorraine) won his 1200 m race at Ascot. The jockey was Paul Harvey and the trainer Chris Willis. It was a 50,000 dollar race. We are still celebrating. Law Rain was sired by Key Business and his Dame was Magic Cocktail. He was bred by my brother Regan. Law Rain was born the day after my mother's death in 2005 and named for her. My brothers Regan, Adam, Nathan and I are co-owners of this beautiful horse.

In Galatians 2 Paul relates an incident where he rebukes Peter and Barnabas for eating with Gentile Christians and then when the more strict Jewish Christians (who followed the Shammai tradition) visited they ceased eating with the Gentiles. Most Christians interpret this passage in regard to kosher food laws and assume that Peter and Paul no-longer observed kashrut. This however is not the case.

Many Catholic prophets mention the coming of a comet. Some state that it will appear twice. One such prophecy comes from St. Hildegarde of Bingen. "Before the comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scourged by want and famine. The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent will be devastated by earthquake, storm, and tidal wave. It will be divided and, in great part, submerged.

Rabbi Shusterman writes in the "Chabad Weekly": 

"MOSHIACH IS BORN ON TISHA B'AV Tisha B'Av is known by our Sages as the birthday of Moshiach. In simple terms this means that at the moment of the destruction of the Holy Temple, the potential for the Final Redemption, through Moshiach, was born. The Rebbe clarified the exact meaning of this: "Our Sages explain that this cannot refer to Moshiach's actual birth, because Moshiach will not be an infant when he redeems our people.

Once again some Catholic traditionalists are attacking the Jews in the Church. They are now spreading homilies on the internet by anonymous Catholic Tridentine priests who are attacking the practice of keeping the Passover Seder by Catholics. They do this by quoting the great doctor of the Church St. Thomas Aquinas. They quote his opinion that a Catholic who keeps the ceremonies and rituals of the Old Covenant as if the Messiah had not already been born is committing a mortal sin.

The Miraculous DNA Double Helix-like St Joseph Staircase of Santa Fe

The mystery of the DNA is connected to the mystery of St Joseph and the Teli and the Payot (taltalim). This is also connected to the concept of Jacob's ladder and the genealogical tree of the Messiah (see Blessed Anne Catharine Emmerich). The original all wood staircase in Santa Fe that reminds one of the double helix DNA did not have the railing which was added later for safety.

The Gaon of Vilna

Rabbi Hillel Rivlin of Sheklov [1758-1838] (also called Rabbi Hillel Mishklov) a grandnephew of the Rabbi Elijah the Gaon of Vilna (1720 -1797) wrote the "Kol ha Tor" (Voice of the Turteldove) based on the Messianic teachings of his great uncle. The Gaon of Vilna is also known as the Gra. The Kol haTor divides the period that leads to the revelation of Messiah son of Joseph to the Jewish people into seven.

Today an Israeli friend showed me an article in a popular Israeli Newspaper where a female reporter went undercover in a Messianic Jewish group. The report was very unbalanced and used very emotive language but nevertheless many of the negative points are true about such groups, that are in reality not so much Messianic Jews but Evangelical/Charismatic Protestants that use, what I would say, are inappropriate evangelisation tactics towards the Jewish people.
