Some anti-Jewish Christians quote from passages in the letters of St Ignatius of Antioch's letters to demonstrate how he was anti-Jewish in his theology. They especially love to quote the Letter to the Magnesians. Of course St Ignatius was not anti-Jewish at all and was a disciple of St John and knew the Apostles who were Jewish. There was a Syriac abridgement of the letters known as the low recension.  There is the middle recension which is the original second century version of the seven letters and then the long recension of the letters being reworked in the form of thirteen letters in the 4th century. Most scholars accept the middle recension as the original documents.

Madelaine Porzat (d.1850) prophesied:

"I announce to you a Marian period of seven crises over twenty six years (2005-2031?). These are the seven wounds and sorrows of Mary which precedes her triumph and our sanctification. These are firstly inclemencies of seasons and inundations (so-called climate change). Secondly, Diseases to animals and plants (mysterious deaths of birds and fish etc Bats with Coronavirus).

Many Catholic prophets mention the coming of a comet. Some state that it will appear twice. One such prophecy comes from St. Hildegarde of Bingen. "Before the comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scourged by want and famine. The great nation in the ocean that is inhabited by people of different tribes and descent will be devastated by earthquake, storm, and tidal wave. It will be divided and, in great part, submerged.
