On Christmas Eve our parish of the Huon Valley at the Cygnet Church staged a nativity event I am calling  the Bethlehem Extravaganza where I starred as King Herod. It was a brilliant afternoon with the recreation of the village of Bethlehem and the production was bigger than Ben Hur. Such fun!

I was surprised how easily I took on the persona of King Herod. I had excellent slave girls who served me food and fanned me. Thanks to Dr Rachel Bradley our parish council president who arranged it, for making me do it and she provided me with a comfy couch to recline on in my mini Herod's Palace.

There have been at least four major bottleneck population events caused by catastrophic events in human history. The first one was the Flood of Noah around 2005 BC when about 100 descendants of Noah survived on the Ark to settle the world after this global event.

Some people in the past have asked me about Homo Erectus. Homo Erectus according to the Darwinian evolutionists is the ancestor of Modern Man (Cro-Magnon), Neanderthal and Denisovan.

This week an article about Br Stephen Joseph was in the "Catholic Standard" newspaper in Tasmania.

Just over 10 years ago Br Stephen Joseph of the Immaculate Heart came to inquire about joining us the Little Eucharistic Brothers of Divine Will as a consecrated brother -he was called Joe then. When we were doing Adoration together at St Canice's at Lower Sandy Bay during his visit I had a word of knowledge and an image of him riding shotgun over Br John Joseph and I.

...Joshua's name of fishhook is connected with the letter 'vav' of the Hebrew Alphabet which is also called fishhook. The 'vav' in the Jewish mystical tradition is the third letter of the Divine name YHVH. The 'vav' represents the manifestation of the Divine Presence in the spiritual realm (Yetzirah) called there Ben (Son) or Zer Anpin.
